Build Identifier: Eclipse 1.3

I have a PC and I am using Eclipse 1.3. The PC is on an external network that does not have access to the internet. How can I download the plugin Vaadin and install on my external PC? All install docs point to using the Eclipse install software options but how do you install if you are not online?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. put pc offline add see if you can install an Eclipse plugin
2.
3.

I guess you are talking about http://vaadin.com/eclipse. It seems you can install it only via their update site. You could install it on a machine that has access to the internet and just copy it to your machine using an USB key or something.

That would mean I would have to first download and install Eclipse on my local box and then download that plugin. This is a lot just to grab one plugin. Also once the plugin is downloaded how would I know what plugin files to move over. Downloading a plugin used to be a lot simpler you just download and extract into your eclipse install folder. Are there any plugins still that way or is everything going toward using the Eclipse New Software feature ?

You should ask Vaadin guys to make the plug-in available for download on their page. I don't think we can do anything about that.
