Description Susan McCourt CLA 2011-01-12 22:17:25 EST
In 0.2-M4, we did some initial modularization of the outliner, so that its communication with the editor is mostly through services and the service registry. We still have some work to do:

- right now the syntax checker is still hooking the editor's onInputChange. Need to figure out what hook it should really use (or maybe this is okay for now). We want to respond to the get on the editor contents and only the editor knows when that has happened.
- I'm not removing listeners yet, need a dispose lifecycle on the services and call dispose on unload of the page
- we need to prove the outliner is modular by putting it on a page other than the editor. For example, click or hover on a file in the navigator and an outliner pops up as a preview.
