Description Hari Shankar CLA 2011-01-12 13:46:38 EST
Build Identifier: 323

The changes introduced by bug 294627 cause unwanted deletion from the
.component file during mass checkout from cvs. Unwanted events are being
processed that result in the REMOVE code being hit that was introduced by this
patch.

Reproducible: Always

Ok so to be clear... we will no longer "automatically" try to refactor or manage the .component folder entries if a folder is removed in the workspace.

The user needs to manually remove the selection - correct?
Comment 3 Hari Shankar CLA 2011-01-12 14:22:24 EST
Hi Chuck, that is correct. And this applies only to non-source folders. We had proactively added this functionality in the maintenance stream and ported it to HEAD, in order to help automatically manage users' .component file, but backing this out since it is causing issues in other scenarios such as cvs checkout.

Committed to R3_2_maintenance and HEAD for WTP 3.2.3 and WTP 3.3 M5
