the coffe-bytes plugin provides Visual Studio's style of code folding right up control sturcuture, blocks try-catch and so on, since the project is not longer maintained i think it would be grand it this feature would be integrated into eclipse.

I'm sorry but you would have ask the coffe-bytes provider whether they have interest to contribute their code to Eclipse under EPL.

The request for more generic folding is bug 81125.
