After having looked at many bugs I really do know that there was an upgrade. Now, this message just disturbs me every time I do something with bugzilla (bug report, search, search result).

How can I get rid of this? If not, can you take it away and maybe send a note to the mailing list(s) about the change and a link to the most interesting changes/features that we get from the update?

I'm sorry this message inconveniences you (it's one line!) 

I'll remove it later this week once I feel everyone is back from holidays and is aware that an upgrade has occurred.

In our Greasemonkey script, I've added a  generic "Hide" link that lets users suppress any given message:
