A repo export feature has been added in 4.0.

Backporting it to 2.0 (and possibly 3.0, but that's not my 
immediate concern) would provide a means to migrate 2.0
repos to 4.0.

Patch forthcoming.

Patch v1

Superficially tested with MEMStore and DBStore (Derby). Your
mileage may vary.

Doesn't work with HibernateStore - I suppose it could but I
didn't implement that.

I avoided changes to all public interfaces, but did add a 
public method to a public class... Is that allowed?

I'm a little worried that we break APIs in maintenance. But since we won't have any public builds please just do the following:

1) Tag everything in CVS as R2_0_end_of_maintenance before you commit your patch.
2) Commit your patch
3) After you've committed your patch, please tag everything as bug_333260_fixed
4) Please send me a PSF of your 2.0 workspace (mine is no longer connected to CVS due to the restructuring)

Note that I already tried 1) but failed in the middle. You may need to check "move tag if it exists"...
