Reproducible with Controls Demo -> CTabFolder Tab:
1. Select the checkbox "Selection Background Image"
In FF and Opera the selected tab background becomes black. In WebKit (Chrome, Safari) becomes white. Only IE shows background image.
With "classic" theme selection background image works fine. Maybe this issue is related again to rounded borders + background image (SVG).

Fixed in CVS HEAD.

The size of the image has to be provided to the client, this usually happens automatically with background-images, but not in this case.
