I noticed there's still several PPC based VMs and libraries in /shared/common. I think this could be removed now. I'd say it pretty unlikely we'd move back to a PPC machine at this point (and if we did in future, should probably install "fresh" stuff. The only account for less than a gigabyte of disk space ... so, not that urgent ... but seems like noise, so thought I'd suggest they be removed. $ du ./*ppc* -sh 107M ./ibm-java2-ppc-50 109M ./ibm-java2-ppc-50-old 109M ./ibm-java2-ppc64-50 164M ./ibm-java-jdk-ppc-60 92M ./ibm-java-ppc-60 187M ./ibm-java-ppc64-60-SR7 31M ./mozilla-xulrunner181-1.8.1.4-30.ppc [00:07:50] david_williams@build:/opt/public/common $ ll ./*ppc* -d drwxr-sr-x 8 root root 1K 2007-10-25 13:08 ./ibm-java2-ppc-50/ drwxr-sr-x 8 root root 1K 2008-08-20 10:31 ./ibm-java2-ppc-50-old/ drwxr-sr-x 8 root root 1K 2008-08-20 10:31 ./ibm-java2-ppc64-50/ drwxr-sr-x 9 root root 1K 2008-09-22 13:41 ./ibm-java-jdk-ppc-60/ drwxr-sr-x 4 root root 1K 2007-11-23 01:21 ./ibm-java-ppc-60/ drwxr-sr-x 9 caniszczyk common 1K 2009-12-14 23:52 ./ibm-java-ppc64-60-SR7/ drwxrwsr-x 11 jpospycha common 1K 2009-08-26 10:10 ./mozilla-xulrunner181-1.8.1.4-30.ppc/
Added Chris and Jacek as they are technically owners of a couple of them.
yes, xulrunner-ppc can be safely removed. We're using x86_64 for ATF junit tests.
fyi, I have removed it to my home dir and will delete in next week or two, unless someone else complains about them.
I've 'cleaned' all of the PPC Java stuff. -M.
