Modify the serviceconfig.xml to have a Deny entry followed by an allow for the subnet. This will not allow the localhost to connect on the local machine using the AC.
For example,
<Deny type="CUSTOM" list="hostA"/>
<Allow net="192.168.0.0" mask="255.255.0.0"/>

When the port is changed from the default 10002 port for the IAC, the local host is unable to test connection.

Tested using the IAC, start the AC as a service with an element that does not have a corresponding closing tag, e.g. Application2. The error message in the system log and servicelog.log do not detail the reason for the failed start.
