Build Identifier: 0.11m4 / 4.1m4 e4 is a new cool and in my eyes exciting framework, the next Generation RCP Framework. "BUT" If you want more developers to dive deeper in it and work with it you need to provide these folks with more information. It makes no sense to publish a new Milestone Build of e4 without ANY information what APIs changed and why, what new features are in and so on. I dont say that you have to write a very long documentation but something like a New & Noteworthy that are in Eclipse Projects normally are a minimum of information a developer need to have some basic understanding and also gets inspired or appetized to work with the new milestone build. Example: In Milestone 3 Addons were not necessary for an e4 Application. In M4 they are necessary but nearly no information (except for the contacts sample application). If somebody is downloading the M4 Build, playing around with it and not able to get a running e4 Application in a short time I am sure he will kick e4 and thinks of it as crap or something like this. Think of it, no BIG BIG documenation needed but some small information e.g. New & Noteworthy or a README with information what changed, why and how to use. Reproducible: Always
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and remove the stalebug whiteboard tag. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. --
