Description Tim Buschtoens CLA 2010-12-14 06:20:53 EST
Normally Request.js turns the default mouse-cursors into a wait-cursor after 500ms waiting for a response. Devices without a mouse naturally don't display that cursor. We should come up with an alternative for those.

Also, with those (usually) slower devices, rendering may actually take much longer than the request itself, perhaps there would be a way to display the a wait hint for those situations aswell. (This could be useful on all clients. Perhaps this can be done while implementing the new protocol. Predicting the time needed to render a change is already working with the new scrollbar-implementation.)

With the focus of RAP on mobile devices having changed to native clients, i would close this bug as wontfix. Unless anyone objects i will close it in a few days.
