I don't know if anyone has reported this, but it is major since Chrome and Safari take up a lot of the web market. I have spent 5 days designing all my companies reports in BIRT just to find out now that the example viewer doesn't work on Webkit browsers. Whenever I try to use it in Chrome the first time right after I open chrome up it works. But when I try to run a second report or even refresh the current report it won't open the param window nor will it do anything but sit there. I think this is a major flaw even though this is an example viewer. Since Chrome now takes up a lot of the market. The system behind our reports that the reports run data off of is made specifically for Chrome, so we have to use this.
I can not reprodcue this issue in my new installed Chrome. My steps: 1.using the URL that you provided: http://smcortijo.edu.gt:8080/birt-viewer/frameset?__report=rptListaAlumnoxGradoEdad.rptdesign&colegio=1 Parameter dialog pops up correctly and result showed up after click ok. (see screenshot 1) 2. Press F5 to refresh the page, parameter dialog shows up. Change some param's value, and click "ok" 3. The report shows up correctly. My Chrome version: 8.0.552.224.

Hmm, I see it is working. Ok next step. What would cause your viewer not to respond for me on my end, what part of Chrome or any program would interupt this so I can see what is broken on my end? Thank you so much for the assistance.

I'm not sure what the problem might be with your environment. But I tried 2 different machine to access the URL you provide, both works fine. It also works with Chrome 6.0.472.63. Set as worksforme.
