Description Prashant Deva CLA 2010-12-10 02:23:06 EST
The eclipse plugin we distribute requires increasing the maximum memory usage of Eclipse.
Currently we have to tell our customers to manually edit the -Xmx value eclipse.ini after installing the plugin from the update site.

There should be some api which allows us to modify the eclipse.ini file automatically upon plugin installation.

This is supported since 3.4. See set addJVMArg http://wiki.eclipse.org/Equinox/p2/Engine/Touchpoint_Instructions
