Description Robin Stocker CLA 2010-12-03 05:07:21 EST
Build Identifier: Version: Helios Service Release 1. Build id: 20100917-0705

When using the "native" proxy provider (Gnome), the proxy bypass hosts configured in the Gnome proxy configuration aren't used in Eclipse.

For example, when connecting to localhost using the "Target Management Terminal", the proxy is used even though it shouldn't.

It works when setting the provider to "manual" and adding localhost to the proxy bypass list.

Reproducible: Always

This is how the preferences look. If I understand correctly, the proxy bypass list should contain entries for the "native" provider, but doesn't.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
