Description Prakash Chandrasekaran CLA 2010-11-30 09:45:07 EST
Hi,

Can connectors (and maybe other edges too) named more informatively by default? (Or, enabled by a setting in papyrus?)

By informative, I mean naming a connector between say two ports "Request" and "Command" as "Connector_Request_Command", instead of say "Connector10".

In my use case, I am trying to link the connector property on messages in an interaction scenario (with the lifelines representing properties) to the corresponding port-port connectors, as a refinement step. And, it would be much easier, if the connectors created in the composite diagram got named more informatively by default.

I'm sure same applies to many such edge elements.

Regards,
-Prakash.

This can be reformulated as a UI enhancement request, which seems more sensible. Closing this.
