Description Alan DeMars CLA 2010-11-17 12:27:16 EST
Build Identifier: 3.20.05.73

It appears that C++ applications built with the ELF targets have a ".init_array" section that needs to be placed:

cppea8f bigtime.cpp ...
lnkea8f debug/bigtime.xea8f ...
warning: creating output section ".init_array" without a SECTIONS
   specification

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.build the "bigtime" example application for any ELF target
2.
3.

- fixed in xdctargets-c35 and xdctargets-d10

.init_array is a non-splittable section with the same properties as .pinit.

verify pass by Karl.

I installed 3.20.06.80_eng and built and ran stairstep for both Arm and DSP on OMAPL138. Used 7.2.0B2. The .init_array error is resolved for 674x/ELF. And Arm is working too.

RTA and ROV for stairstep are OK for Arm and 674x.
