Description Glenview Jeff CLA 2010-11-17 11:43:25 EST
Build Identifier: M20100211-1343

Please support parsing for TODO, etc. to generate Eclipse Tasks from comments.

For example:
[Comment TODO: Implement TODO parsing/]

Would add "Implement TODO parsing" in the Eclipse tasks pane.

Thanks!

Reproducible: Always

This feature has already been requested and created, it is available in Acceleo 3.1 since August (M1) for those who like to live on the edge by using a non stable release :)

You can see a screenshot of this feature with other user interface improvements on my blog here: http://sbegaudeau.tumblr.com/

If you want to test it, you can use the update site of the milestones and release candidate here: http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/m2t/updates/milestones/

Right now we are at Acceleo 3.1.0 M3, you can find our planning here: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Indigo/Simultaneous_Release_Plan#Milestones_and_Release_Candidates

Acceleo 3.1.0 M3 is NOT recommended in a production environnement, it is not particularly unstable* but the new features have not been extensively tested and we may have broken something and we may change everything at any time.

* one could even say that since it is the last version of Acceleo built, the lastest patchs are included in it, yet it is not considered by the dev team as a stable release and if you choose to use it, we will not "support" it (we will only support the stable release of Acceleo 3.1.0 in June next year). But if you try it and if you find any bug, do not hesitate, we love to have feedback in order to improve our products.

Stephane Begaudeau, Obeo.
