Description Dani Megert CLA 2010-11-17 03:30:07 EST
The performance results for I20101116-0800 and I20101109-0800 are missing.

Also, what does it mean that "View the performance results for the current build." in the 'Related Links' section of the results page is in italic?
Comment 1 Satyam Kandula CLA 2010-11-18 06:40:30 EST
The result for I20101109-0800 was not available as there was a problem with the DB server. I don't know the problem.

The result for I20101116-0800 is not available because of a connection problem with the DB server. We get the following error while connecting to the DB server
#################
!ENTRY org.eclipse.test.performance 4 1 2010-11-17 09:18:51.016
!MESSAGE Execution failed due to a distribution protocol error that caused
deallocation of the conversation. The command requested could not be completed
because of a permanent error condition detected at the target system.
##################
Frederic/Kim, Any idea why this error could be coming. Can the file derby.log on the server machine help?

Derby log file

Looking at derby log, it seems that the DB was restarted with a user which has not enough privileges to write in it... But that's sounds weird as we usually use sdimitro user to stop/start the DB and we should not have such issue.

I'll stop and start it again using sdimitro in case the last start action was done using an wrong user and we'll see on next generation whether this issue occurs again or not...

That means there's no available performance results for this build...

Done, as today's maintenance build should run performance tests, we should know rapidly today whether the DB restart was enough to fix the problem or not...

OK, this is quite misleading. Filed bug 330560 for that.

I could connect to the DB through the tool - Thanks.

I think the problem is that some of the files related to the database were owned by different user than sdimitro. So when it was restarted, that user couldn't write to the database. I've chowned the files and restarted it.

I'm rerunning the performance tests for both M20101117-1123 and I20101116-0800.
Comment 9 Kim Moir CLA 2010-11-19 13:56:01 EST
performance results for M20101117-1123 are now available. Win XP Sun 1.5.0_10 (2 x 3.00GHz - 3GB RAM) is missing some results because this machine crashed overnight.
Comment 10 Kim Moir CLA 2010-11-22 11:03:29 EST
performance results for I20101116-0800 are available but some are missing due to crashed machines over the weekend. They should all work going forward.

Verified in I20101130-0900.
