Build Identifier: In GTK lists font color changes between the selected and deselected states. For example, using Ubuntu 10.10 Ambiance theme: - Selecting an item in the left panel of Nautilus gets a white text over an orange background. - Selecting an item in the folder view makes the previous selection to change black text over a light grey background. In Eclipse, for example in the project explorer, the background color changes accordingly but the text color is always white, which makes the text almost unreadable when the selection changes to the Java editor and also makes the text unreadable on the autocompletion list. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use Ambiance theme 2. Open Eclipse and select a file to open, then quit the focus of the list. 3. Press ctrl+space in a Java file to trigger auto completion In both cases the white text over almost white background makes the selection almost invisible.
Is this bug still reproducible?
I don't think it's even possible to do it without installing Ubuntu 10.10 with GNOME 2. Since it has already moved to Unity or GNOME3 and since GTK and SWT have changed a lot in this six years, I would say that you can close this bug.
