1. Create JPA Project and mapped superclass in it
2. Open the diagram editor
3. Drag-and-drop the mapped superclass from the project explorer to the diagram. Pick it from under 'JPA content' node. 

Result: A new entiy is not being created in the model and diagram (as intended). Instead, the mapped superclass appears for a moment in the diagram and disappeare
