Description Tim Buschtoens CLA 2010-11-11 09:33:04 EST
The original qooxdoo Button is still used in a lot of places, even though our own button can do almost everything the orignal can and more. With some very minor changes, the AbstractButton (from which the the rwt-Button and ToolItem inherit) could be changed into a "BasicButton". To use it as a replacment, some refactorings will be needed, but it can be immediately be used by new Widgets like the ScrollBar.

So this should be done in two steps:
1. Create the BasicButton to be used for the rwt-Button, ToolItem and new Widgets.
2. Replace uses of the qooxdoo Button and then delete it.

With the original Button gone, we are also much closer to removing the qooxdoo Atom, Label and Image.

The original button (now named rwt.widgets.base.Button) is still used by Calendar, DateTimeDate, Spinner, Window (Shell), Combo and CTabFolder

As noted on Bug 330225, we should not invest any more resources into this issue specifically.
