Along with all the other simultaneous release data. While most of the other data involves "things accomplished" this offset data is one of the few things that has to be tracked or documented on our wiki's ... so would be best to have all this descriptive data in one place. Of course, once added to the actual portal and database, it'd have to be represented in the tracking grid as well. If this can not be done soon, in next few days (which I'm not expecting ... I'm just saying ... ) we can continue to the wiki to track this, such as at http://wiki.eclipse.org/Indigo/Participating_Projects
Tracker is updated in the portal, using this detail: "The offset is a the number of days relative each milestone, within which your project will deliver the code for that milestone. A project should consult the offset of their dependencies before setting this field: in general, a project will have an offset greater than that of it's dependencies." Webmaster, can you schedule a push of the portal code at your earliest inconvenience? I'll take a look at the tracking grid later this morning.
I've pushed these changes to the live site. -M.
I've updated the grid to include the offset. It shows the actual value when you drill into the project.
(In reply to comment #2) > I've pushed these changes to the live site. > > -M. Thanks, Matt.
I'm marking this as FIXED since I believe that the original intent has been fulfilled. I think we may want to tweak the UI a bit and there's at least a couple of hard-coded references to Helios in the "grid" code that we may want to exercise, but we should address those in separate bugs.
Thanks for such quick turn around! Now you've made a liar of me :) I've opened bug 330042 to address some of the remaining tracking issues.
