Description Opfermann Cédric CLA 2010-11-05 10:11:26 EDT
Build Identifier: 20100917-0705

I contribute to the same menu (File menu) in two separated bundles.
This should combine the two contributions into only one menu with the command of both menus. This is ok in RCP but not in RAP, as I get the same menu twice with the same items inside.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create 1 application and 1 plugin with is used by the application
2. Add a menu contribution with a menu and command in the application plugin
3. Do the same for the plugin for the same menu but another command.
4. Run it, you can see that the menu is displayed twice.

Test case

I sent a very simple test case.
It contains two projects, one application and one plugin.
Just run it, and the main menu has twice the same menu.

RAP is currently using Workbench code 3.4. We are in process to update the workbench to Indigo (3.7) - see bug 309661. I've just checked it against my working workspace (workbench 3.7) and the bug is not reproducible there. Should be fixed with bug 309661.

That's great!
For which milestone do you think the update to 3.7 will be available ?
Comment 4 Ivan Furnadjiev CLA 2010-11-05 10:55:07 EDT
I hope we will manage to do it for M4.

The updated workbench 3.7 code (bug 309661) is in CVS. I can't reproduce it anymore. Please reopen if the issue persist.
