It appears that the dependency of Gemini Web on Virgo (util) was not upgraded prior to releasing 1.1.0.RELEASE. This needs redoing to base on Virgo 2.1.0.RELEASE.

Fixed by replacing the zip file and other artifacts at the 1.1.0.RELEASE level. This seems the lesser of two evils - better than shipping a 1.1.1.RELEASE simply to update the dependencies.
