Description Iain Houston CLA 2010-10-31 07:05:54 EDT
The Save as dialog does not keep in step with directory structure changes made in the "explorer" view.

1st Screenshot shows that the "jazz" directory is not shown in "profiles" in the Save As dialog even though it is present as shown in the explorter tree view.
Refreshing F5 and double clicking the profiles directory icon in the Save As dialog will not show newly added "jazz"

2nd Screenshot shows that manually retyping the path in the Save as dialog will allow the file to be saved.

I would have expected that the Save As dialog would show the latest version of the directory tree each time it's opened without needing manual user intervention

The Save As dialog is the standard Eclipse dialog and it is not RSE-aware. What is displayed in there are the local Eclipse projects and contained resources that exist in the workspace, nothing 'remote'. The RemoteTempFilesProject is a special RSE project used for storing temporary remote files that have been downloaded to the workspace for editing or file transfer. If there were nothing in the RSE file cache, then you would see this tree of corresponding remote resources in there. This project and it's cached resources are not supposed to show in views like the Project Explorer or resource dialogs, however, the Save As case is unavoidable because Eclipse editors are RSE-independent.
