Description Pascal Rapicault CLA 2010-10-30 14:48:20 EDT
By default the "open type from maven repository" action (available from the navigate menu) will not find anything because the default option for index retrieval is "minimum indexed-enabled" whereas the "full index" is needed.
Because of these defaults which I believe are results of a desire to not consume too much bandwidth from central, the user experience is degraded.
I suggest that when no results are being found, we suggest to the user to look at the repository index options, and probably even guide him to the view.

support for classname index has been removed from m2e, so this enhancement request is obsolete.
