Description Shibbir CLA 2010-10-30 04:51:53 EDT
Build Identifier:

I am running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on my Dell N4010 Notebook. The Eclipse Java IDE works perfect. But the eclipse c++ ide doesn't work at all. When I double click the main file it shows a window displaying nothing. What I can do if I want eclipse c++ to run on my ubuntu system?

Reproducible: Always

Did you ask or search for an already exiting answer in the Forum?
http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=thread&frm_id=80

Last time I checked I had no CDT related issues on Ubuntu. I quess you have just JDT (Java Tooling) installed and not CDT (C/C++ Tooling).
Check under Help > About Eclipse

BTW: Please don't abuse Bugzilla as a sort of Forum to ask such questions. Use the Link above.

What Patrick said, bugzilla is not a forum, it is bug reporting system.
