Opened by Shenxue Zhou:
-----------------------

I've noticed this problem quite a few times but don't have a sure way to
repro: in new table wizard, column type in IColumnDescriptor has a value
provider. The value provider has to query the database through JDBC driver to
get a list of predefined types. When you click on the "browse" button,
sometimes the list shows up with a partial set. If you dismiss the dlg and
tries to bring it up again, it may come up with a full set.

Not sure whether there is a race condition or a thread issue there. If you
hit the browse button on column type many times, you may come to a partial
set. But I don't have a sure way to repro this...

This is likely some sort of a bug in the platform dialog that we are using.

I have not seen this and I don't see what we could be doing to cause the described behavior. Let's close and investigate further if it comes up again.
