Build Identifier: Build id: 20100617-1415 The font used to display items the Variables View is configurable in the preferences as Debug->Variable text font. If you click on the value with the mouse, the cell changes to an edit cell but the font used for this edit is the default font not the one selected in the preferences. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change the Debug->Variable text font to something strange like wingdings 2. Debug any program containing a variable - note the use of the font 3. With the variable displayed in the Variables View, click with the mouse on the variable value cell so the cell is changed to an edit cell. 4. Note that the contents of the edit cell are not displayed in the wingdings font.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
I have just retested and this is still a bug.
Yes, someone wants to fix this?
Created attachment 287424 [details] Variables View Font While Editing Now I see that the edit cell also shows the changed font. @Alan, Can you please check again?
I agree - not sure when it was fixed but it does look to be working correctly in September 2021 release.
Thanks for the quick confirmation.
