code from HEAD Just noticed that the 'External JavaScript Source' project filter no longer shows up as a filter option in views. Steps: 1. open the view menu in the package explorer 2. notice it is not present 3. open the launch dialog - to force the jsdt.debug.ui bundle to load 4. repeat steps 1 and 2 likely the fixes to either bug 320407 or bug 321958 causing it.
Yes, and those two bugs are why. Known alternates would be to only show Java projects in the Package Explorer, or for us to provide something for common navigators--provided we could avoid starting up because of it. As it is, we make only use of the Project Explorer in JSDT (although I can see some benefit to bringing back the old Script Explorer, albeit revamped).
with the fixes to source look up and the 'External JavaScript Source' project being a focus in the story, I think it is fine that you cannot hide the project with a filter.
