Description Markus Keller CLA 2010-10-26 09:58:42 EDT
HEAD

Links to the Colors and Fonts preference page should clear the filter text before selecting the most suitable entry. Currently, the target font is not selected if it is filtered out.
Comment 1 Dani Megert CLA 2010-10-27 03:58:50 EDT
This can only be fixed with new API on FilteredTree because currently the text field change causes the tree to be updated later via job. We either need a way to wait for that to happen or a hook into the update job code.

There are currently no plans to work on this given the scenario is not very frequent.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
