Description Mark Victory CLA 2010-10-22 15:13:34 EDT
When I tried to use the ellipsis control for Text axis labels it had no effect. I had some REALLY long axis labels and they never showed any ellipses.

Further, I don't understand the hover help on the control.

The help says "Sets the minimal count of characters to be displayed before the ellipsis"

What does "minimal" mean. Shouldn't it just be specifying the exact number of characters that will be displayed before using ellipses? Or, at worst, the "maximum" number of characters to display before ellipses? When I read the hover help, I assumed the "minimum" word was a typo.

Maybe I just don't understand the use of the Ellipsis control?

Thanks,
Mark

Current behavior is the expected result. Please read:

Set as invalid based on comment #2.

Thanks for looking into this.
I understand the use of "minimal" now, I think.
In my case, the ellipses were never displayed regardless of what value I specified for the minimal characters so there must be another bug.

Thanks again,
Mark
