We are using Dynatrace for performance testing and are having problems with content sent back from the sample BIRT viewer, e.g. in response to a request similar to that below

run?__report=components/core/birt//Participant/EmployerWorkforceReport.rptdesign&concernRoleID=10

There are 4 issues with the returned HTML that the chrome debugger found... in brief ...
1.	It seems necessary to explicitly close <div>’s with a </div> and not just <div ..... /> (lines 121 and 262)
2.	It appears necessary to explicitly close the <B> elements (or remove if unnecessary) on line 155
3.	It appears that it does not permit the definition of a hidden input variable inside the body of a table – see line 441

Can you confirm if these are resolved in BIRT 2.6 ? We are moving to BIRT 2.6 in the near future.
In a related question, have you seen any issues regarding the BIRT engine calling the same report 3 times before returning a BIRT report (chart) when embedded in iframe objects?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.if a BIRT chart is embedded in nexted iframes?

Could you please attache the report design EmployerWorkforceReport.rptdesign here?
Comment 3 Anthony Farrell CLA 2010-11-18 07:14:43 EST
I cannot give you the report, the report is a very simple report, it contains only a chart, populated with the sql similar to <select 25, "Ford" from dual>.

The issue is not in the chart return but in the html not matching the DTD, following the steps in here https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=310512 allows dynatrace to work.

Issue 1&2 should have been fixed in 2.6.0. Could you please try out.

As to the issue #3, I'm not quite clear about the scenario. Could you please give an example on how you add the input into table?
