Java resources node in web project is contributed by WTP.
(clone of defect https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=327802  for 3.3)
There is inconsistent behavior when you have one source folder as compared with 
multiple folder that it does not display that source folder as child of "Java
Resource".  

Having no child prevents action such as drag and drop of files from explorer to
the source folder.
