When working with files that change outside of Eclipse, the "Resource is out of sync" message can appear. Usually refreshing the Navigator solves this. Occasionally, despite refreshing, the out of sync message continues to appear. This happens even when changes to the file outside of Eclipse have stopped occurring.

Requires restart of Eclipse to access file as expected

Reproducible: Sometimes

Working correctly with recent versions. Besides in recent eclipse, refresh on access is enabled by default.

I remember this bug and I think it was fixed some time ago. Closing
