I believe that this project exists primarily to provide a place for the project plan to land. We did not create a similar project for Helios, so I assume that we created this one as an experiment. AFAIK, we did not do any formal creation review and this is not really a project in the normal sense. In that spirit, I suggest that we simply close this down without further ado. Or have I missed something?

Agreed. The other day, I was surprised to see this listed in 
http://www.eclipse.org/projects/listofprojects.php 

I have no knowledge (or, at least, memory :) of how/why/when created. 

So, agree, can just be removed.
