This is the same bug has Bug 238961
When a firefox is manually set in browser preferences page, if the url to a file contains spaces, multiple page are opened.
this issue has been fixed for windows but not for other platform (see the patch)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enter manually firefox as the default browser in the browser preference page
2.open an html file with the file path of the file containing spaces
3.multiple tabs are opened in firefox

This is working in version I20110424-2000. This most likely started working when Bug 320934 was fixed.
