Description Jacek Pospychala CLA 2010-10-08 06:02:50 EDT
hi,
I'm getting following error after mirroring recent contents from update site http://download.eclipse.org/technology/subversive/0.7/update-site/

I noticed that currently subversive update site is plain old update site with site.xml and no p2 goodies.
Previously it was p2 repository with artifacts.jar and then it went off for a while.

So I'm guessing that old MD5 hash was cached somewhere in my metadata. Can you confirm that new MD5 correct?

hi guys,
any comment on that? All I want to hear is if new checksum is correct.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply, but finally I can tell you results of checking on this issue.
1) There were no p2 metadata for quite some time because we really have had pretty strange problems with generating it. Now it is fine already.
2) We have changed our policies regarding update sites. From now on for each release update sites will be placed in their separate places respectively. Weekly update sites now are dismissed and the following update sites:
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/subversive/0.7/update-site/
http://community.polarion.com/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/2.0/update-site/
will contain development builds from now on.
3) I have checked the latest plug-in version with the different Elipse versions (3.5.x, 3.6.x, 3.7.0M4) and every time installation process went smooth and well without any issues.

So, I hope there will be no more problems. But if there are still some unresolved issues you're welcome to discuss it.

P.S.
Marked as 'Fixed' due to p2 metadata issue is resolved now and there seems no issues with the plug-ins installation.
