Build Identifier: 20100917-0705 I use Linux-10.04 with Gnome-2.30.2 (gtk-engines-2 => 2.20.0/gtk+-2.0 => 2.20.1) From a fresh installation all work fine. After normal installation of some plugins the dialog 'install new software' appear blank with a strange gray rectangle. The plugin in list look like invisible and not selectable for installation, if i press button 'select all' all hidden item can be normally select and i can continue with a normal installation. I already try to use export GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=true or to resize windows, but nothing happen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Fresh Installation 2.Install some plugin (in different time) 3.Installation dialog became blank and i need to re-install eclipse.

Created attachment 180435 [details] Blank install but all plugin selected
Switching to a different (empty) workspace helps. There I get a (visible) list of different software packages. Switching back to the old workspace the list was empty again.
Try this solution bug 324729
I also encountered this problem with upgrade from 3.7.1 to 3.7.2 in old workspace. I'm using the Clearlooks GTK Engine, but my Desktop is KDE 4.8.0. Ubuntu 11.10 64-bit. The solution here works excellent! Thanks --> https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=324729#c10
