The 'Show Whitespace Characters' dialog should have 'Restore Defaults' and 'Disable All' buttons. 'Enable All' is IMO not necessary, since it's the same as 'Restore Defaults' (but the latter can also restore the alpha level when bug 172018 gets fixed).
