I am trying to get the latest updates for the software by Help->Check for updates

What I get is an error saying "No repository found at http://download.eclipse.org/dsdp/tm/downloads/drops/S-3.2RC4-201006051820/index.php."

not related to PDT (DSDP is another project under eclipse).

My proposal - use the official update site of eclipse Helios or download the latest full package

PDT can be updated using the official update site - verified.
