Steps to reproduce:
make two projects (I made one local and one remote but this should work on even two FILES in the same project) - shallow(remote makefile proj) and localMPI(local, hello MPI world from wizard)

1. select shallow project, run mpi analysis from PLDT drop-down menu
2. select localMPI project
3. select something else that is not a resource - e.g. the tab of the mpi analysis view
4. run mpi analysis from PLDT drop-down menu
result: analysis is run on shallow, not on localMPI.  the selection was cached but the
analysis did not use the proper cached value.
