Need to move RTSC project to Technology due to DSDP termination. At a minimum this requires: * Create project technology.rtsc and mark as Incubation-conforming in Foundation Database * Move Website: /dsdp/rtsc to /rtsc * Move SVN: /svnroot/dsdp/org.eclipse.rtsc to /svnroot/technology/org.eclipse.rtsc * Move download directory: /downloads/dsdp/rtsc to /downloads/rtsc * Archive mailing list: dsdp-rtsc-svn-commits * Move Bugzilla Product: DSDP/RTSC to Technology/RTSC * Move IPZilla Product: dsdp/dsdp.rtsc to tools/tools.rtsc * Move existing committers: o Jon Rowlands o Dave Russo o Sasha Slijepcevic o Joseph Cusano o Bob Frankel * Mark dsdp.rtsc project as inactive in Foundation Database
Hi Wayne: I want to be certain I haven't missed the DB entry being arranged for this new project? Can we work from this bug once it is created? Thanks, Sharon
technology.rtsc has been created.
Please work from this bug.
All DSDP RTSC CQs have been moved via Ipzilla to Tech RTSC Database updated to identify Tech RTSC is a dual licensed project - EPL/EDL Webmaster: All Committer paperwork has been checked and there are no barriers for any of the committers to move. Please script all changes in the DB no manual changes were performed. I believe IP's involvement is complete here. Thanks, Sharon
David when is a good time for me to move the data around? -M.
SVN and bugzilla: We typically do our check-ins toward the end of the week (thur/fri), so early in the week is better: Monday or Tuesday. newsgroup: I assume the newsgroup remains unchanged (to minimize impact on current users). mailists and downloads: anytime is ok (we don't use these lists much). web and wiki: Is it possible to have a redirect page from http://www.eclipse.org/dsdp/rtsc/ to http://www.eclipse.org/rtsc? I'd like user's existing links to continue to work. As far as I know there is no change to the wiki, right? We can cut over anytime, but I'd like to also update our vserver wiki to point to the new home as soon as it's available.
Ok, in that case I'd like to do the move today starting at ~2pm(EDT). It should be all done by 4pm(EDT). Should a new commit list be created or do you no longer need that service? -M.
The mail list is not currently used so it's not necessary. I assume we can start one later if new comitters come on board and prefer this method of notification, right?
(In reply to comment #8) > The mail list is not currently used so it's not necessary. Ok. > I assume we can start one later if new comitters come on board and prefer this > method of notification, right? Sure thing. -M.
Ok the move is finished. -M.
Closing. Please reopen if something was missed. -M.
So far everything seems to be working perfectly, thanks! I'll delay closing this for about a week, which should be enough time to discover any issues.
