Description Luca Di Stefano CLA 2010-09-27 14:54:19 EDT
Build Identifier: 20100917-0705

If you register a new Password Provider with high priority (>2) and disable default UI provider, when you use CVS it will show anyway the ui dialog asking master password.
The custom Password Provider is ignored.
If you press cancel at ui dialog and try to browse CVS tree then the custom password provider is called.

Reproducible: Always

The extension in question is provided by the Equinox component so moving to Equinox/Security for comment.

See bug 326342 comment 2 , this looks like the same scenario.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
