Description Ken Kolden CLA 2010-09-25 18:32:39 EDT
Build Identifier: M20100211-1343

Selecting the title menu bar with right or left mouse click causes application to minimize or more often minimize & move position.
This breaks standard usability practice.

Clicking this area should only select the application.
Such as if viewing another application ie... shell/terminal minimized then clicking the application you want ie... Eclipse it should bring Eclipse to the front.

Instead it minimizes then will reposition the Eclipse.

This is very very.. annoying.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Selecting the title menubar with right or left mouse click causes application to minimize or more often minimize & move position.

This sounds more like an issue with your window manager. Which window manager are you using? Does the problem only occur for the top-level Eclipse workbench window? If you open up dialogs in Eclipse and click on their window's title bar, does Eclipse minimize itself?

Seems to be some window manager issue. This works on Gnome.
