EclipseLink documentation does not detail how or why lazy relationships can still be fetched when after the entity is detached as long as the context is available.  This question comes up frequently in the forums, yet isn't described anywhere that EclipseLink allows it as long as the entity was read outside a transaction and the connection/context is still available.
