On the "old" Hudson, I had defined a few "locks" to Hudson, and then used them in a few of my jobs, to make sure one wouldn't start, if another was running. 

If I recall, a Hudson admin has to define them to Hudson, then I can use them in my job configuration. 

The names would be as below (or similar, if you have any different "namespace" recommendations). 

simrel-lock-indigo
simrel-lock-helios
