Description Michael Woski CLA 2010-09-23 14:49:22 EDT
Hi,

I just tried to install some example plugins. The plugins are getting installed, i.e. the installer downloads something and copies the jars or folders to the proper locations, and also the p2 installer marks the plugins as installed. However, in the bundles.info they're not registered, so the workbench will not resolve them. Did I miss something?

bye Michi

You aren't by chance running in 'shared install mode'. That is, is Eclipse installed in a read only folder?

Also, do you have a link to what you tried to install?

In fact I do run in shared install mode. Uff, what did I try to install? Was it the examples feature from CDO?

Could you please provide the steps used to install those plugins. I don't know where they are coming from. Thx.
