The progressbar appears to be misplaced on the splash screen while launching an inner instance. See attached screenshot, was it intended to be that way as opposed to 3.x ?

I have never seen the progress bar either. Marking as dup of bug 320021 since that deals with getting progress working and will have to deal with positioning the progress area.
