The Standard Widget Toolkit (SWT)project is not listed in the table of projects or the table of newsgroups.  The only way to find it is to do a search on "SWT".

Is this intentional?

It is listed on the Forums home page, http://www.eclipse.org/forums/ - are you talking about a different page?
It's under the category "Eclipse Projects." That category is initially collapsed (because it's so big), which is perhaps why you didn't see SWT right away.
